Pearl Works a kitchen for long, unhurried dinners
Market produce, fire and patience. We cook a short menu that changes with the season and serve it at a pace that leaves room for conversation.
Seasonal menu
A short card of small plates, mains and sweets, rewritten as the market turns.
Dinner service
Evenings Tuesday to Saturday, with a relaxed long lunch on Sundays.
Room to gather
Tables for two, a chef's counter and a private room for larger parties.
Dietary care
Vegetarian courses on every menu and thoughtful adjustments on request.
The kitchen
Cooked with patience, not trends
Pearl Works began with a simple idea: a good dinner should feel like being looked after. Our cooks build each plate from a few ingredients at their best, then let the fire, the stock pot and time do the rest.
Breads are baked each afternoon, sauces are reduced slowly and every sweet course is made in the room behind the pass.
- Produce chosen by season, not by habit
- Whole-animal and whole-vegetable cooking
- A short wine list chosen to suit the plates
Private dining
A room of your own for the evenings that matter
Birthdays, anniversaries, team dinners or a quiet celebration with family. Our private room seats a long single table, and the kitchen will shape a menu around your guests.
- Set sharing menus or a bespoke tasting
- Wine chosen with your host in advance
- A dedicated team for the whole evening

Good to know
Is there a dress code?
No. Come as you are. Most guests dress smart-casual, but comfort matters more to us than formality.
Can you cater for allergies and dietary needs?
Yes. Every menu includes vegetarian courses, and we can adapt many dishes. Please mention allergies in your enquiry so the kitchen can prepare.
Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Sunday lunch and early dinner seatings, and we're happy to prepare simpler plates for younger guests.
Do you keep tables for walk-ins?
We hold a few seats at the chef's counter each evening for guests without a reservation, offered in order of arrival.
How far ahead should we book?
For weekend dinners and the private room, we suggest sending your enquiry a few weeks ahead. Midweek tables are often easier to arrange.
